LET US ENLIGHTEN - THE STORY REVEALED OUT OF SOBS

It was not a normal night for Delhi. That night New Delhi was lit with so many candles that any stranger would have mistook it for a day. It was not New Year nor was it Diwali that was being celebrated. Those candles were not a sign of joy or prayer but of fear, rage, sorrow and confusion. The roads of Jantar Mantar were filled with thousands of youngsters all fighting for a single brave heart. That night has seen a revolution not aimed at politicians or at capitalists but, it was a war of good over evil, a revolution aimed at a change in a wide range.
The night before the huge outburst of rage and sorrow in the entire country, a young girl was walking along with her friend on a deserted road in Delhi. It was not mid-night according to the laws of the city for, the capital was always profoundly lit and 10:30 is a negligible hour. The girl should not have definitely taken a bus home if she knew that this day would end her bubbling young life and gives birth to an agitation that would spread its light throughout the entire country. She was made famous for something that no girl would have ever dreamt of. The media for the first time decided not to give her name out and the politicians respected her more than anyone in their political history. This young girl became a wick burning her own self but giving light to the entire world.

This is not the only case when a girl was brought into the world when she never wanted to be known. Age never was an exception but all that matters is the gender. The hand that was about to give support to a number of underlying hands suddenly gets dragged into darkness. The huge world of hers until then darkened by the light of happiness suddenly gets darkened by abuses and harassment  Who is it that is responsible for this? Why is it that the women after centuries of revolutions again have started to prefer the purdah?

The brave hearts that hide their tears for their brothers, parents, family and friends are now being exploited of their right at least to live freely. Women have been playing various roles since time unknown but now they don’t have the patience to add the role of “puppet” into their list. They are well serving the society with their bold administration, blind trust, pure hearts and immense love. Let’s not allow this rude harassment to over-power all the above and drive the best half of man go back into the darkness. A single candle can light an entire room; a single thought can change an entire society. So, let’s be the first candles to protect our own home from the threat of darkness.

The Untold Story - A STORY NARRATING THE CRUELTY OF MAN

Have you ever thought why animals don’t talk and trees don’t walk? Well, it is a long story that happened millions of years ago. It was long back, when all the living creatures had legs to walk and a voice to talk. The world was so lively then, with all the living beings singing and dancing all day. The trees were considered the oldest and the wisest of all while man was said to be the most ignorant (which was later proved to be wrong).
